1.11 Major Update:


// Gameplay Changes //

DNA Enhancements:

- Removed The DNA Enhancement System gave the Heroes a single upgrade called DNA Stat. The old DNA System added Complexity but didn't really add Depth, The player had to do more but it didn't really add any meaningful choices for the Player.

- Heroes now have a single Stat Called a DNA Stat, which increases with prestige.


Hero Loyalty:

- At 15 Loyalty a Heroes DNA Stat will always be the maximum (Equivalent of being Prestige 10).

- When you get a Hero to 20 Loyalty (Max Loyalty), The amount of Meds the Hero will need per day reduces from 4 to 1. (per in game day)


Prestiging and Enchanted Stones:

- Added the Enchanted Stones System, Heroes now require 4 Enchanted Stones to Prestige, The 4 Stones are:

- Level Stone: +20 Mana, Aquired by leveling the Hero to 100.

- Red Stone: +1000 Damage and +100 Mana, Aquired by trading 10 Fire and Dark Elements

- Blue Stone: +1000 Health and +100 Mana, Aquired by trading 10 Ice and Light Elements

- Mana Stone: +200 Mana, Aquired by trading 10 Electric and Arcane Elements

(The  Red, Blue, and Mana Stones are available from the Goods Trader)

- All Heroes Stats have been reworked slightly to better suit the changes to the Prestiging system and removal of the DNA Tree.


Combat Rounds:

- Removed rounds, you now only have to defeat an enemy once.

- Enemies now have more health to balance out the elimination of the rounds system.

(This is to improve the flow of combat)


Hero Mana System:

- each Hero/Position now has mana, mana is used to recover health after a battle.

- each Hero has a Mana stat based which increases with Prestige and by equipping Enchanted Stones.

- The Hero will charge Mana based off of their Mana Stat once Per Turn, the Amount of Mana they have at the end of a battle is how much health they can get back (e.g. if their Mana is 50% full, they can get up to 50% of their health back)

- If you have more Mana than missing health they will only used the required amount of Mana to heal themselves (e.g. if They have 50% Mana but are only missing 10% of their Health, after healing they will have 40% of the Mana left)

- After each battle Heroes only recover Health if they have Mana, the exception being after defeating a boss or of course if your team is defeated.

- If a hero is out of Meds, they will not be able to generate mana. (replacing the old system of them starting at 50% Health if they're out of Meds)

- buffing a Hero by Clicking (using the Magic Staff) will also charge the Heroes mana based off of the Heroes Mana stat.


Defeated in Battle:

- when changing teams or when defeated you will be taken back to the reset point, which is the level after the previous boss. (e.g. you die on level 95, you are taken back to level 91, The last boss was level 90 as there is a boss every 10 levels,)


Various:

- Elements in Loot is now based off of Drop Chance like Granules and Metal.

- The Menus: Magic To Metal, Metal to Magic, and Enchant Granules, are now put together in a Menu called "Converters", which can be accessed from a few different areas of the game. This is to make converting materials more convenient for the player.


// Presentation Changes //

Home Screen:

- Reworked the Home Screen to help make it feel less like rows of menus (This will be further improved in the future)


Battle Screen:

- Modified The Position UI to better suit the new Systems

- Modified the Enemy UI to improve visual appeal

- Modified the Loot Panel to improve visual appeal


Hero Profiles:

- Modified the Hero Profiles to better suit the new Systems

- On The Hero Profiles the buttons for Level, MaxLevel, and Prestige will flash slightly when they can be upgraded.

- "+" Buttons will appear when you are able to equip an Enchanted Stone to the Hero.


Note:

As there was some major changes to core gameplay there may be some small glitches present, I'm still in the process of hunting all of these down and fixing them.

Note 2:

I'm Currently working on Ideas for quite large changes to Gate Silver so this update is more of a step in that direction, This is also why certain aspects of the game have yet to be further polished (most notably some of the Art).
